Barcelona consider signing Viktor Gyokeres for €70m

Barcelona would like to sign Viktor Gyokeres for €70m and loan him back to Sporting CP reports Diario Sport David Bernabeu.

The Swede release clause is €100m but Barca believe the forward could leave for a lower fee.

Gyokeres loan move would allow Robert Lewandowski to spend one final season at Barca before his contract expires. The Pole current deal with Blaugrana expires in 2025 but it will be automatically extended for one extra year if the striker features in at least 50 per cent of all Barcelona matches this season.

The Gyokeres move is still difficult for Barca as there are plenty of other clubs interested in acquiring the 26-year-old services.

Viktor Gyokeres has scored 24 goals and provided one assist in 18 appearances for Sporting CP this season.
