Luis Diaz representatives have informed Liverpool that the winger could seek an exit this summer if a new contract offer does not materialize according to TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey.
Diaz whose current deal runs until June 2027 has been keen on signing a new deal since last year with his camp believing that his performances this season would prompt Liverpool to extend his contract.
While the Reds remain open to the idea negotiations have yet to progress despite ongoing discussions with other parties.
Diaz agents have reportedly made Liverpool aware of Barcelona interest but the Spanish giants are not the only ones monitoring his situation. Clubs from Italy and the Saudi Pro League are also keeping close tabs on the 28-year-old.
Luis Diaz has scored 13 goals and provided 4 assists in 42 matches for Liverpool this season.
