Real Madrid are putting pressure to sign Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad at the end of the season reports Cope.

Zubimendi is open to leaving Sociedad in the summer particularly if they fail to qualify for the Champions League.

The player agent is said to be listening to Florentino Perez and the offer Madrid have on the table. Meanwhile Zubimendi has a €60m release clause on his head per reports.

The Spanish midfielder is one of the top candidates Madrid are targeting to beef up their central midfield position.
